WEEK ONE PROMPT
Walking the Camino de Santiago is about letting go and relying on God’s grace and the kindness of others. “The Camino provides” is a common expression for those on the way. How do you turn your life over to God’s grace and the kindness of others? In what ways do you not only receive grace and kindness but also express it toward others?

I am really working on the “Let go and let God” idea. In the process I am discovering the grace and kindness of others and am getting better at expressing grace and kindness toward others. It is absolutely amazing how far a kind word and/or willingness to expose myself goes. I am thankful.
I think it’s something that we all must “practice.“ We do not like the idea of not being in control. At the moment, I am very thankful for the fact that the people here were kind enough to learn English, so that this American could order coffee.
I trust. I trust that a higher power will guide me to peace and joy. And that I will recognize the signs and follow them…
Meanwhile , I will do my best to spread peace, love, acceptance and joy to everyone in my path. I know that I will receive as much as I give.
Listen, pay attention and we will see beauty all around
There is beauty everywhere. I think we get so wrapped up in inconsequentials that we miss most of it.
